We come together to honor the legacy of our ancestors, celebrate the wisdom of our elders, strengthen the bonds of the present generation, and inspire the youth who carry our future forward. UNITY001 is more than a moment; it is a shared expression of resilience, connection, and hope.

Rooted in humility and thankfulness, this space honors every community—every village—that has shaped us, welcomed us, and helped us grow. It reflects the enduring spirit found wherever people come together with purpose, compassion, and unity.

With grateful hearts, we invite you to join us as we remember, celebrate, and move forward—together.

Lee Street has long been the heartbeat of Cullen, Louisiana—a place where generations were raised knowing their neighbors not simply by name, but as family. Early residents laid the foundation for a close-knit community built on faith, laughter, hard work, and genuine care for one another.

Families such as the Lees, Brooks, Grigsbys, Stinsons, Lewis, McGills, and Bradfords shaped a legacy that continues to echo through time. From front-porch conversations to children’s games in open yards, Lee Street became—and remains—a symbol of unity, pride, and perseverance.

With humility and gratitude, we share this truth: much of the UNITY001 committee is a product of Lee Street. The values learned there—respect, responsibility, service, and love for community—are the principles guiding our mission today.

As we move forward, UNITY001 (A.K.A. Deuce One) carries this spirit beyond a single street and into every village and neighborhood across the ARK-LA-Tex region. Our commitment is to connect communities, uplift families, honor elders, empower youth, and strengthen the bonds that tie us together—no matter which town, parish, or city we call home.
